So, you say you are unique and you believe in individuality, but you don't feel right when you can't blend in? You want to be a trendsetter, so you go shopping at the trendy stores...along with all the other trendsetters? We are becoming a part of the cloning process. Society is pushing on us the fear of being unique. Sure, we hear people say we need to let people be unique, but the moment they are not uniquely the way society wants them, now they are just weird? We need to beware of the clone.  In the world of music, it is becoming more common to turn on a radio station and hear 30 of the same bands pressed in the same mold. How is that unique. They are basically saying, you must listen to the style of music we want you to listen to and we are not going to even entertain any other style, because that is just not acceptable to the way we think. It is time to break the mold. To step out and be the uniquely, fearfully created person you are. As a band, we fight daily that influence that has been put on us to be like all others. While there is nothing new under the sun, we are definitely working to let the heart and music work together to bring a sound that speaks the heart of Mawcore. In this musical journey, we may end up sounding like someone, but we do strive to be true to ourselves and the music that is coming out of our hearts. Today, hopefully you will do the same. Maybe it isn't music for you, but it is clothing, where you shop, where you eat, who you associate with, the way you think, and on the list goes. In all of this may you avoid being cloned. We have all been fearfully and wonderfully created.
